UI and UX design startup, Lollypop, raises fresh funding

Bengaluru-based Lollypop, a digital designer startup, has raised an angel fund round with plan for the company’s physical expansion, according to a statement by the company.

The company, which has a presence in 11 countries, focuses on user experience and interface design (UX and UI), allowing companies they work with to reach clientele using digital design. The startup runs through four steps of research and testing, the two design phases and the final developmental aspect, Financial Express reported.

The angel fund round was led by advisory committee member of the Indian Angel Network (IAN), Devi Shetty and his family. Shetty is known for being the founder of the chain of 20 hospitals, Narayana Hospitals.

The startup, which was founded by Anil Reddy in 2013 and is owned by Pixitree Digital Creatives, currently employs 77 people and has worked with 20 companies, according to Lollypop.

The company is heading toward a system where it works with its sister company, Codebele, a back-end provider, to provide clients with a complete system. Lollypop also plans to double its employee base by the end of the last quarter of 2018.

Stanford University, Myntra, Housing and Swiggy have all been listed as past clients of the company.
