Citta.ais, an artificial intelligence startup in the healthcare sector is working toward raising finances for further development and global expansion.
The Indian-Australian company is developing monitoring solutions focused on healthcare monitoring for patients.
“We would like to empower millions of people with their own AI-based cardiologist on their hands available all the time,” Deep Singhania, the Singapore-based Adviser to Citta.ai said.
The funds they are planning to raise will be spent on developing their monitoring product as well as on expanding the company’s presence on a global scale. The company which currently has a 3-year expansion plan is hoping to raise $3 million in funding.
“Our next expansion will cover North Asian, Latin American and Canadian markets, followed by North American and European Union,” Citta.ais’ NRI co-founder and chief operating officer, Baskar Parthasarthy said.
Other locations in which expansion plans have been instigated include India, Australia, Bangladesh and places in Southeast Asia.
The management team of the startup gave a presentation at the first India-Singapore Entrepreneur Event, otherwise known as InSpreneur. The event, held on January 5-6, was part of Asean India Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2018. The team presented their plan and solutions at the event in Singapore in front of a 10-person panel of judges and investors after which they were ranked in the top 3 in the healthcare field.
“We need USD 3 million for the commercial expansion and put out more Artificial Intelligence (AI) features in our products,” Callum Bir, Citta.ais co-founder and Chief Executive Officer said.
