Bengaluru-based artificial intelligence startup, Entropik Technologies Pvt. Ltd., raised new funding to further develop services among other purposes.
The company has developed a software called Chromo, which can assist in emotion recognition. The startup also provides an audience analysis to companies using analysis of facial expressions and tracking eye movements among others, Livemint reported.
Chromo, the software developed by Entropik Technologies is currently in a prototyping stage. The startup, which currently has over 50 customers, received $1.1 million in this most recent round.
Funds from the round will be put toward developing new products, services and international expansion plans. Since its founding in 2016 by Ranjan Kumar and Bharat Singh Shekhawat, the startup has developed a client base in both India and the United States.
Investors in the recent round include Bharat Innovation, Parampara Capital, Arthavida Ventures and Jitendra Gupta are among investors in the round.
“We will increase our global footprint in Southeast Asia and United States. We plan to launch in Singapore next month and in America in the next three to four months,” Kumar said, as reported by Livemint.
ITC Ltd, Bankbazaar.com, Myntra and Accenture India are among customers of Entropik Technologies.
