Startup Incubator T-Hub’s new round to be held in hybrid model

Hyderabad-based T-Hub launches the fourth round of its startup incubation program, Lab32.

Lab32 will be hosted in a hybrid-learning model, making it a digital four-month process due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The current global crisis has hit the growth trajectory of our startups.” T-Hub’s CEO and Telangana’s Chief Innovation Officer, Ravi Narayan, said, as reported by Times of India. “In keeping with challenges, Lab32 is uniquely positioned to help those startups that have their engine revved up and are ready for product development and market expansion.”

Applications for technology-based startups are due by August 5th of this year, for this round of the program. Lab32 is focusing its efforts on startups that are at the beginning or middle stages of development.

T-Hub was founded in 2015 and has produced three rounds of this startup incubation program, so far. Startups that have been through the program include MyGate, LaunchSpace, Disruptive App and AspireBuzz, among others. The program will accept up to 75 startups this round.

“Earlier, the Lab32 program had a requirement that the founder of the shortlisted startup must relocate to Hyderabad,” a press release from T-Hub, said. “However, this year, the hybrid program delivery will enable more entrepreneurs across India to reap the benefits of the program without the need for physical presence in Hyderabad.”

This round of the program will include training and advising sessions based on expansion plans into various markets, a focus on product development, and will focus on each startup’s individual needs, the release said.

“T-Hub’s Lab32 program has completed three successful years helping some of the most innovative and promising startups in the ecosystem,” Narayan said. “It is more important than ever, as startups are looking for assistance not just to survive the pandemic but find new business opportunities to grow more rapidly.”

Lab32’s fourth round will begin in September of this year and will include training on leadership skills, among others.
