Pune-based real estate focused startup, Renewate Infrastructure Technologies raises new investment round for its mobile app and digital platform.
The startup uses artificial intelligence, among others, allowing professionals in the construction, real estate development and management sectors to move their services online. This further allows projects within the sector to move and come together quicker.
“We want to remove the pain points that contractors and professionals face,” Debashree Ghatak said, as reported by ET. “Many contractors are at the bottom of the pyramid when it comes to literacy but up the chain when it comes to showcasing high-value skill sets. With this technology they can be empowered to take control of their business.”
Investors in the recent pre-seed investment round include venture capital firm, Better Capital, among others.
Renewate Infrastructure Technologies was founded by Debashree and Supratik Ghatak two years ago, in 2018.
The startup makes it easy for businesses to reach customers in foreign markets by providing product support which converts content into the customers’ languages.
“Many property improvement professionals & contractors are using archaic methods for running their businesses, losing time as well as revenue,” Better Capital’s Vaibhav Domkundwar said. “Renewate is helping them with their mobile-first vernacular-first app that brings simple tools to help them work smarter.”
The new investment round will be put toward national expansion plans and future products and services by Renewate, among other areas.
