“We can’t wait to be live in every city in Venezuela with both Yummy Delivery and Yummy Rides, and continue our expansion across LatAM,” Yummy’s founder, Vicente Zavarce said to TechCrunch. “We want to become a part of everyone’s daily life and put the local economy in the hands of our users, while creating a way to earn in U.S dollars for thousands of Yummers and drivers.”

Since its founding in 2020, Yummy has grown to see 34,000 transactions across its services within its Venezuelan presence. Investors in the round include Anthos Capital and JAM Fund, among other participants.

The startup charges fees for each transaction or service, and currently has approximately 200,000 users and 5,000 employed drivers. Yummy has future plans to operate 50 locations in each country of operation.
