Pune-based wellness startup, Ahhaa, uses artificial intelligence to create solutions for stress
and well-being for both individuals and companies.
The company held a booth and the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 in Hyderabad, which
received attention from attendees, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ivanka Trump,
daughter and advisor to US President Donald Trump, Times of India reported.
“This kind of exposure helps us in creating an impact and taking our content to people,” Diane
Bacchus Quddus, co-founder of Ahhaa, said. “There are so many openings globally to bring
Ahhaa content to their diaspora. So for us, there cannot be a bigger showcase to take our
product at one shot to so many countries.”
According to founders of the company, the Prime Minister and Trump both spent two-to- three
minutes with their product, looking into their idea and trying the meditation based in virtual
reality. The company hopes to put their product to use in a variety of parts of society, both in rural and
urban locations, with plans to begin their service in Hindi and Maharathi. The company plans on
expanding the number of experience centers and launch their content through an app.
The Times of India reported Prime Minister Modi inquired about the process of getting the product in the hands of the public.
“World over, only 9% of the global workforce have access to wellness programs,” the company
said. Ahhaa was approached by Invest India and Niti Aayog back in September to collaborate on an
“Ahhaa space,” one which would provide a similar mindbody experience with virtual reality
transformations.
