New round raised by Slintel sees investments from Accel and Sequoia Capital

Marketing and sales automation startup, Slintel, raises Series A investment round worth $4.2 million.

The startup’s online platform uses artificial intelligence and data analytics to allow businesses to reach potential customers for their products and services. Slintel currently has around 100 customers, with plans to triple that number in the next two years.

The new investment round will be used for team growth and product expansion, among other areas.

The startup has bases in both California and Bengaluru, but houses its technology team at its Bengaluru base. Slintel also has customers in parts of Europe and Asia.

“The new investment will enable us to double down on our vision of helping sales and marketing teams find buyers that are most likely to engage with them,” Slintel’s Co-founder, Deepak Anchala said, as reported by Livemint. “The investment from this round will be used to strengthen the product and capture market share aggressively, given the velocity at which we have been able to add customers over the last year.”

Investors in the Series A round include Accel, Sequoia Capital India and Stellaris Venture Partners. The startup has a team of 35 employees so far.

Slintel was founded by Anchala, Rahul Bhattacharya and Ranjana TN. The Saas startup has raised a total of $6 million since the company’s founding in 2016.

“Slintel’s growth is driven primarily by the unique value proposition of the product and the demand for it in the market today,” Prayank Swaroop, partner at Accel said, Livemint reported. “Slintel’s platform enables its customers to identify prospects that have a high probability of purchasing their product or service.”
