die Webseite besucht. Experimentalfilme aus den Literaturkursen der Oberstufe
qualifizieren sich regelmäßig für die Auswahlliste des Schülerfilmfestivals NRW[11][12][13][14].

der Wettbewerbsbeitrag im Fach Biologie den Umweltpreis auf Bundesebene[10].
Der Begriff ist ein Kofferwort aus „Alternative Lernmöglichkeiten in Hilden”, angelehnt an die Figur des Almöhi aus Spyris Heidi-Erzählungen. (Berufs)erfahrene Senioren vermitteln ehrenamtlich ihre Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten in außerunterrichtlichen Arbeitsgemeinschaften im Rahmen des Ganztagsbetriebs an Schülerinnen und
Schüler der Unterstufe. 1923 erfolgte die Umwandlung der Helmholtz-Realschule in eine Oberrealschule, so dass die Schüler ab 1926 die
Allgemeine Hochschulreife ablegen konnten. Die Schach-Mannschaft des Helmholtz-Gymnasiums hat bei der Kreismeisterschaft
in Ratingen überlegen den ersten Platz belegt. Die Partien gegen die
Konkurrenzschulen wurden klar gewonnen.
Um euch die Eingewöhnung und das Ankommen zu erleichtern, möchten wir euch herzlich willkommen heißen und
in den ersten Monaten hilfreich zur Seite stehen. Helmholtz-Gymnasiums können in der Oberstufe die
Fächer Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch und Spanisch auf Leistungskursniveau belegen. Außerdem besteht die Möglichkeit die Sprachzertifikate”DELF” in Französisch
und “DELE” in Spanisch zu erwerben. Darüber hinaus bietet
das Gymnasium regelmäßige Schüleraustausche an. Für die Teilnahme
am Austausch mit der Partnerschule in China ist eine
Teilnahme an der China AG verpflichtend. Teilnehmer der „Singklasse” ab der fünften Jahrgangsstufe erarbeiten sämtliche Unterrichtsinhalte des Faches Musik durch Singen.
Einblicke in das Diskussionsgeschehen zwischen Schülern des HGH und Persönlichkeiten aus Politik und Verwaltung der Stadt Hilden befinden sich im Downloadbereich. Auch in diesem Jahr findet wieder das traditionelle Weihnachtskonzert des HGH statt, an dem viele interessante Solisten,Chöre und Ensembles mit sehr unterschiedlichen Beiträgen mitwirken — um 19 Uhr in der Aula des Helmholtz-Gymnasiums. Beim Rennen von solargetriebenen Modell-Eigenkonstruktionen absolvierte das von den Schülern Valentin Hohnhorst (8c) und Tom Nöller (7a) vom HGH präsentierte Solargefährt die Wettbewerbsstrecke in absoluter Rekordzeit. Der Sieg sicherte die Teilnahme am Bundeswettbewerb. Überrascht und etwas ungläubig wirkte Maria Lisovets, als sie als Siegerin des diesjährigen Rhetorik-Wettbewerbs verkündet wurde.
Es bietet eine umfassende Bildung, die die Grundlage für eine erfolgreiche Zukunft bildet. Das Helmholtz-Gymnasium Hilden ist eine herausragende Bildungseinrichtung, die sich durch ihr breites Angebot und ihre Barrierefreiheit auszeichnet.
